Lincoln Oaks Golf course boasts a history like no other public course in the South Suburban area. Built in 1927, it was originally one of four courses at Lincolnshire Country Club. Renowned golf course architect Tom Bendalow, who also designed the original South Course at Olympia Fields Country Club, designed the layout. Mr.Bendalow also designed Naperville Country Club, and all three courses of Medinah Country Club.
This sporty 6,200 yard, par 71 golf course has undergone renovations, which include continuous cart paths, as well as the reshaping of tees and fairways to enhance playability. Some of its many features include mature tree lined bent grass fairways, and small greens that give you a feel of how the game was traditionally played. All of these many features will provide a good test of skills for even the best of golfers. The course features Country Club conditions at a fair public price.
